About the position
The purpose of the Internal Audit business unit is to provide independent and objective assurance designed to add value to the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation (“the Guardians”) by assisting the Guardians to achieve its business objectives through a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control.
The Internal Audit business unit works closely with the Board and the Board’s Audit Committee, as well as with the Leadership Team, and undertakes reviews across all areas of the organisation. The business unit holds relationships with the external auditors, the other ‘big four’ accounting firms, and other potential co-source partners.
As a team we are looking to drive the integration of Data Analytics into Audit best practice - so if you have a strong Audit background with a Data analytics capability (including Python and R), you will be well placed to add value in this role.
